I’m Karen Chacon, a bilingual mortgage loan officer passionate about helping people achieve their dreams of homeownership in North Carolina. Originally from Miami, I grew up in a vibrant Hispanic community where we spoke Spanglish and supported one another. When I moved to NC in 2019, I noticed that there weren’t many bilingual loan officers available to guide Spanish-speaking families through the mortgage process. I knew I could be the difference. Drawing from my own family’s experiences, I understand how important it is to feel informed and supported through each step of the loan process. Growing up with self-employed parents who struggled to buy a home due to a lack of guidance, I saw firsthand how the right support could make all the difference. That’s why I ensure my clients have all the information they need to feel confident, informed, and empowered. My ideal client is someone who’s worked hard, maybe even been told “no” before, but still dreams of establishing roots for their family. I love being part of their journey, and there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing the smiles and receiving hugs from families who have achieved their goals.
